This video covers Hypertensive Crisis.  Hypertensive crisis refers to the condition where severe hypertension is causing end-organ damage, whereas hypertensive urgency occurs when a patient has significant hypertension without evidence of end-organ disease. The physician who is assessing a patient with a work-related condition who is found to have significant hypertension has the obligation to rule out a hypertensive crisis.
